If you really like what we're doing, PLEASE COME TO OUR TOURNAMENTS! But if you can't come in person, you can still support our tournaments from afar through your contributions, and we'll pretend that you're here with us! And just remember, the more people who support us, both in person and from afar, the more tournaments we can run and the longer we can run them! And, if you also happen to be on a Mixed Doubles Team, then BOTH of you can support us from afar, and we'll pretend that BOTH of you are here! But also remember, we are NOT a 501(c)(3), so all your contributions are not tax-deductible. But they're still very important to us anyway!

    You can even tell us how you'd like your donation to be used, and we'll try our best to do that. Here are some possible things which your contribution could help support:

The rent to the New Yorker Hotel, so we can have any tournaments at all;
Advertising in Chess Life and elsewhere, so people can find out about our tournaments;
Contributing the entry fee (and even the USCF dues) for a player or players who could not afford to attend our tournaments otherwise (just think if you helped to make it possible for even just one new player to enjoy this tournament, or any of our other weekly tournaments, who never would have been able to enjoy these tournaments otherwise!);
Helping to defray the cost of the delicious snacks and fruit we provide free to everyone each week;
etc.; etc.; etc.--  the possibilities are limited only by your imagination!

    The amount left over each week after we pay the prizes does indeed go towards paying for these expenses, but it is still much less than necessary to run our tournaments, so we certainly do appreciate any additional support we might receive!
