We are using the official USCF February 2020 ratings: http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrLst.php
(unofficial ratings
at uschess.org are usually used for players who would otherwise be unrated on the USCF February 2020 Official Rating
List). The February 2020 Official USCF
Rating List should be posted at the USCF website by the fourth week in
January or sooner: http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrLst.php
.
Players who enter a
section for which their February 2020 rating would make them ineligible will be
moved up to the next highest section by rating for their grade division (High School, Junior
High, Elementary, Primary, K1). For
example, a player who entered the K1 Under 400 Section
(Sunday February 2nd) in January and whose February Official Rating is over 399
would be moved to the K1 Championship Section (which runs both Saturday and
Sunday). To
move to a different section, please email us
at director@gnyscc.com
(section switches are subject to a $10 charge per player thru Jan. 26., $20
later).
