Details of individual tournaments listed below can be found on the Continental Chess website  (some details may not be available until about 90 days before event)

This list is subject to change based upon the site availability for some of the tournaments listed below; more tournament details to be forthcoming and more events may also be added.

The list below includes details for 2019.  Some of the applicable tournaments listed for 2019 do not yet have operating URLs for 2020; however, most of the tournaments listed below are expected to honor the Magnus League Free Entry Prizes.  

      The list of eligible tournaments will be extended when Continental Chess resumes its regular tournament schedule.

 

2019-2020 Magnus High School And Junior High Chess League Free Entry Prizes And Restrictions Are Listed Below!
 

     Individual free entry prizes (each section):  Free entry to three specified Continental Chess tournaments thru 12/31/2020 to 1st, 2 free entries to 2nd each section!

     Varsity Section Bonus Prize:  Free entry to one specified Continental Chess tournament thru 12/31/2020 to 1st in Varsity Section (playoff among top 2 on tiebreak if tie)!

     Second Half Bonus Prize:  Free entry to one specified Continental Chess tournament thru 12/31/2020 to top-scoring player among all 3 sections in Rounds 8-14!

     Team free entry prizes (overall):  Free entry to one specified Continental Chess tournaments thru 12/31/2020 to 1st Team (4 top-scoring players)!

     Mixed Doubles Team free entry prizes:  Free entry to one specified Continental Chess tournament thru 12/31/2020 to 1st Mixed Doubles Team (each player)!
